Undergraduate Course Scholarship

1. First semester

Graduate School Scholarship

Graduate School Scholarship

  • - Applicants who meet one of the criteria below will be awarded 100% tuition waivers.
  • - 100% tuition waivers are given only if the applicants are recommended by their departments.
  • 1. Applicants whose English or Korean language proficiency test score is equal to or above the figures given below. (※ Note: Test score is not valid after two years of the test date)

  • 2. Applicants who were born in a country where English is a native language.
  • 3. Applicants who have received four years of post-secondary education in English in a country where English is an official language, and have submitted document(s) certifying the education received.
  • 4. Applicants who are full-time professors or researchers in one of the national research institutes in their home countries at the moment(April, 2014).
30% Tuition Waiver

Applicants who are not eligible for 100% tuition waivers or are not recommended by departments.

Applicants who does not buy medical insurance

  • ※ A student receiving a 100% tuition waiver should work as a Teaching or Research Assistant for 10 hours every week.
  • ※ A student who does not buy medical insurance is NOT eligible for a 100% tuition waiver under the Government Policy.
    (A student can buy medical insurance in Korea after admission(by the beginning of September, 2014), or provide proof of one's own medical insurance that is accepted in Korea.)
  • ※ International Professors for Education affiliated with the College of Basic Studies in Yeungnam University are NOT eligible for a full tuition waiver under the University policy.
